I just watched a video about a young guy who lost over 100 pounds weight in a year, that is about two pounds per week. If you want to lose weight you could try and do what he did. This is basically his story.

The first thing he said is to swap normal soda for diet soda. Personally I would drink water for even less calories and as I believe diet sodas may help you lose weight but are otherwise not real good for you. This guy said he lost four pound the first week he swapped drinks.

The next thing he said was to eat a very big breakfast of oats. You can add sugar and milk, it does not matter. Oats do not have too many calories. A good healthy breakfast has been shown to help people lose weight because they eat less during the day after a big breakfast.

The biggest thing that helped him to lose weight was to play DDR. That is Dance Dance Revolution. DDR is fun and as he said he was not really trying to lose weight but the dance activity just made him lose weight by burning calories.

As he said three things helped him lose 100 pounds weight in a year. Swap regular soda for diet, have a big breakfast and play DDR or some other activity but do not sink into a couch.

Pretty simple way to lose weight for a young guy. Old folks you may have to try the foxtrot rather than the waltz. Maybe a bit of line dancing would help you lose weight as well. But the young guy did it most days.
