Work From Home Moms

 Work from home moms have been active for ever. In the early 20th century the standard norm was for the husband and father to go to work with the wife and mom to stay and work at home, doing the normal domestic chores.

In the later half of the 20th century more women entered the work force so the number of work from home moms, unpaid I might add, declined. This was due to a number of factors, more educated women, decrease in the value of wages due to inflation, so it needed two wages for the average household to survive, never mind prosper.

What also occurred in the later half of the 20th century was the first wave of MLM companies. This brought an opportunity for many work from home moms to have a small part time business. In many cases husbands scoffed at the idea of a MLM business initially. However when many of these work from home moms began to earn substantial amounts of money, many of the husbands got in on the act with some claiming the glory. Typical men! The work from home moms did the work and the men talked about it.

Now with the every day occurrence of redundancies across all industries there are many more work from home moms supplementing the family income with internet businesses trying to make money online. More than 50% of households have internet access so there is very little additional costs to set up a home based business for the work from home moms.
